Vaccination, its Natural History and Pathology, 1st edition, Macmillan & Co., 1899, plates from photographs, author's presentation inscription to Major Coplans DSO to front free endpaper, dated April 1919, ink marginalia on front pastedown and pencil marginalia and a few insertions throughout, inner hinges cracked, original cloth gilt, rubbed and corners bumped, preserved in a modern drop-backed box with a tray containing notes and references relating to vaccination, 8vo, together with: Rush (Benjamin), An Account of the Bilious Remitting Yellow Fever, as it Appeared in the City of Philadelphia, in the Year 1793, 2nd edition, Philadelphia, 1794, lacks half-title, some spotting and occasional browning, small ink library stamp to title, 20th-century buckram gilt with Birmingham Medical Institute stamp at foot, rubbed and soiled, joints frayed, 8vo, plus Saunders (John Cunningham , A Treatise on some Radical Points Relating to the Diseases of the Eye... to which is added, a Short Account of the Author's Life, and his Method of Curing the Congenital Cataract, by... J.R. Farre, 1811, engraved portrait frontispiece and 8 plates including 7 hand-coloured, contemporary ownership inscription at end of title, some spotting, contemporary boards with modern reback and paper label to spine, some soiling and edge wear, plus Bell (Charles), Engravings of the Arteries; Illustrating the Second Volume of the Anatomy of the Human Body, and Serving as an Introduction to the Surgery of the Arteries, 3rd edition, 1811, 14 etched plates with some hanf colouring, 4 pages publisher's adverts bound at front, contemporary boards with later reback and paper label to spine, some soiling and edge wear, 8vo, plus other miscellaneous mostly 19th-century medical interest in English, various bindings, mostly 8vo
