(10 5/8 x 7 3/8 in.), late 19th-century half calf; lacking final errata leaf Gg6 (containing printer's device), a little fraying to title margins, some pale marginal dampstaining, some browning and foxing to text. Second edition, and the first to include Rheticus's Narratio prima, the first printed account of Copernican theory (first published 1540).
