Provenance : early inscription dated 1670 on title; occasional marginalia and titling of some plates; Edward Sandford Burgess (bookplate); Ashton Allis (bookplate); sold Swann Galleries, 28 October 1971, lot 111. FIRST EDITION OF THE FIRST CANADIAN FLORA. Its section Enchiridion botanicum parisiense is a pioneer contribution to plant ecology.
