A la fin du XVIIème siècle, une des plus prestigieuses synagogues de Pologne réalisées en bois fut construite à Nasielsk par Simcha Weiss. Cette synagogue fut mentionnée au XIXème siècle dans le premier inventaire officiel des constructions importantes de Pologne comme une des plus remarquables par sa réalisation architecturale. Au moment de la réalisation de la "couronne de Nasielsk'', la communauté juive comptait environ 1000 à 1 200 fidèles dans la ville de Nasielsk. Il est fort probable que cette couronne ait été utilisée dans l'importante synagogue de Nasielsk. Nasielsk is a town in the district of Pultusk in the Warsaw province. In the late 17th century one of the most beautiful wooden synagogues of Poland was built in Nasielsk by Simcha Weiss. In the 19th century this synagogue was mentioned in the first official inventory of important buildings in Poland, as one of Poland's architecturally notable buildings. At the time the Nasielsk Crown was crafted there were about 1000-1200 Jews living in Nasielsk. It is highly probable that this very delicate crown has been used in the historically so important Nasielsk-Synagogue.
