The collection includes types S.2-5, 7-16 and 18-20, P.5-7, 9-11 and 14, IN.2 and 4, mainly good to fine strikes with many attractive and scarce items, including 1857 New South Wales 1/- to London with S.19, 1858 "ART-5/BR.PKT" (also showing handstamped "1/2½"), 1860 to Panama with damaged 6d. showing "INSUFFICIENTLY/STAMPED", 1879 from Canada bearing 1c. (2) and 3c., 1889 showing P.16 with handstamped "6d.", and 1897 envelope from Niger Coast to Germany with ½d. and 2d. cancelled at Warri. A fine basis for further study and expansion. (47)
