cover 1918 (6 May) envelope (small adhesive tape stain at top) registered locally to the Legation bearing 6c. on 25c. blue variety additionally surcharged 4c. in combination with "Pechino" on 1c. brown (3) and 2c. red-brown tied by the Italian Post Office c.d.s. with the registration label alongside. Fresh and fine, despite being philatelic this is a very rare cover, only four examples of this double surcharge were said to have been issued (one was damaged in the post).
