[c.1960 but printed after 2001]. 430 x 330 mm. (17 x 13 inches.) With a printed and signed COA issued by his son Dante in Miami. Perfecto Romero is a photographer who joined the Cuban guerilla forces against Batista and was subsequently appointed as the official photographer of Ernesto "Che" Guevara's regiment. After the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959, he became the chief photographer of the military magazine Verde Olivo. Unlike Korda whose fame has flourished, Romero's work has been under appreciated.
