Lot of 2, including: Silver gelatin photograph of Sioux Chief Crow King in U.S. Major's Army jacket with bone breast plate, 5.5 x 9.25 in., mounted in cardstock with closing cover, 8.5 x 14 in., photograph and mount include Barry's blindstamp, plus cardstock folder's verso features printed paper stamp advertising Barry's Superior, Wisconsin studio, and an attached, illustrated biography of Chief Crow King, which also includes Barry's studio imprint. During the battle of the Little Big Horn, Crow King and his band of 80 warriors attacked Custer from the south, allowing Crazy Horse and Gall to encircle the doomed 7th Cavalry. (sight), mounted in cardstock with closing cover, 9.75 x 11 in., photograph and mount include Barry's blindstamp, plus cardstock folder's verso features printed paper stamp advertising Barry's Superior, Wisconsin studio, and an attached biography of Chief Good Horse, which also features Barry's studio imprint. Chief Good Horse was a cousin of Crazy Horse, and played a prominent role in Custer's last stand.
