Lot of 5, including (clockwise from upper left): Ninth plate daguerreotype of a woman, housed in a chess players Union case. Condition: Solarization at mat edges, else very good. Sixth plate daguerreotype of an aged woman, housed in a floral pressed paper case with an inked not on the pad reading: Grandmother Bartlett - nee Eve Kellogg - married Harvey Bartlett - parents of Chandler Bartlett - 87 when she died. Condition: Very good. Sixth plate daguerreotype of a woman wearing a bonnet, housed in a paper case under the stamped mat of (Abraham G.) Demarest of New York, but with the imprinted velvet pad of (Oliver H.) Willard of Philadelphia. Condition: Solarization at mat edges; light spotting; case separated at the spine. Ninth plate tintype of a young woman, housed in a scroll Union case. Condition: Very good. Sixth plate ambrotype of a young woman, housed in a Fireman's Duty Union case. Condition: Soiling and spidering, especially in lower half.
