(3 7/16 x 5 7/16 in.) including margin, minor wear at corners and upper edge. A portrait of the outlaw on horseback, inscribed on the margin: "Compliments of Emmett Dalton." "Bank robber. Train robber. The only survivor of the famous Dalton gang shootout at Coffeyville, Kansas, in 1892, he was sentenced to jail. Pardoned in 1907, he completely reformed and became a leading businessman in Los Angeles"--W.M.
