Col r drawing 14 1/8 x 9¾ in.) the original drawing bought in 1855 of the painter by this present owner George P. Boyce of West House. 33 Glebe Place. Chelsea ...' and with a further inscription 'And now belonging to M r s George Boyce of /... /... July 1897' (on an old label attached to the backboard) pencil, watercolour and gum arabic heightened with touches of bodycolour and with scratching out 14½ x 9¾ in. (36.8 x 24.8 cm.)
