Daum Art Nouveau Acid Etched Cameo Glass Vase Circa 1900 Of flattened squat globular form, with a straight neck and rectangular mouth, in dark purple over mottled aqua green blue colored glass with areas of yellow, decorated with a bucolic landscape scene including trees, lake and mountains in the distance, frosted finish, cameo signature. Height 4 1/2 inches, width 7 inches. C Property of an East Coast Lady
Appears to be in generally good condition; the top rim edge has been ground flat and polished; has an outer and interior beveled rim edge, presumably as made at the factory; there is extensive water staining/white film to the interior side of the vase; there are two long thin lines on the underside of the vase that have the appearance of being hairline cracks, however, it appears these are instead threads of colored glass
