First volume in early 19th century full brown diced calf, spine lettered in gilt, second volume in early 19th century full speckled brown calf. Volumes not uniform, touch of dampstaining to first quarter and final two signatures of first volume and some brief dampstains to second volume, a touch of faint foxing to preliminary leaves of both volumes, first volume with joints rubbed, some wear to spine, second volume with joints cracked, spine partially detached and lacking portion. First edition. Provenance: Title-page with ownership signature of the eldest son of James Touchet, Baron Audley of Heleigh, third Earl of Castlehaven.
