Tall octavo (23 cm) in original brown cloth, gilt titles and decoration in blind. Complete with maps and plates as called for. The so-called "Presentation Edition" made available to Murray's favoured customers (although the first owner of this copy is not identified) as a promotion for the publication. Rebacked, retaining original backstrip (a bit wrinkled), hinge repaired; otherwise clean and tight.
