Charles Lamb , Tail of account page, signed “Ch Lamb”, 70 x 160mm., browned, edges a little chipped, 20th October 1832; Humboldt (Alexander von) A.L.s. to “Frau Mendelssohn” , referring to a meeting in Charlottenburg on thursday, with envelope, & Mendelssohn (Ernst, 1844-1909) A.L.s. referring to Humboldt’s letter and ?Moses Mendelssohn, 1894; Lister (Joseph, first Baron, surgeon and founder of an antiseptic system, 1827-1912) A.L.s. to “My dear Sir Samuel” [?Wilks or Gardiner], 3pp., 8vo, Portland Place, 16th October 1901, presenting a book and a picture to the Jenner Institute; Clement Markham, Lord Leverhulme, Augustus Hare, Leslie Stephen (about the assignment of who would write the biography of Edward I for DNB); Harry Jones, Sidney Lee (some correspondence to Professor Tout), Florence Nightingale (cut signature), George Romanes, T.G.
