A fine 18K gold, enamel and pearl-set openface quarter repeating a toc verge watch, made for the Turkish market Signed Delforge a Paris, no. 95, case no. 525, circa 1800 Gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusée, finely pierced and engraved scroll decorated balance cock, à toc quarter repeating onto a gong, white enamel dial, Turkish numerals, blued steel spade hands, circular case, pearl-set bezel and back rim, the reverse with translucent Royal blue enamel over guilloché background and centred by a pearl-set floral decoration, repeating through the pendant, case numbered, movement signed and numbered 48 mm. diam.
