DERRYDALE PRESS] CONNETT, EUGENE V. Upland Game Bird Shooting in America . New York: The Derrydale Press, 1930. Number 15 of 75 De Luxe copies with an original signed etching. Full brown morocco gilt by Stikeman, the covers and spine stamped with hunting motifs in gilt, t.e.g. 12 1/4 x 9 inches (31.5 x 23.5 cm); one original etching signed by William J. Schaldach, plates, 249 pp., a few sheets unopened. Light shelfwear, some spotting to plate extremities and tissue guards with light offset to a few text leaves, small nick at head of spine and very short split to upper joint. According to Derrydale bibliographer Colonel Henry A. Siegel: "Some of America's most knowledgeable sportsmen were contributing authors to this excellent and timeless work." Siegel 45. C
