Five nineteenth-century specimen albums on seaweeds, wild flowers, Alpine plants, New Zealand ferns, and Swedish grasses, plus four illustrated volumes of natural history from the same period.
Albums: “Alpine Plants.” Quarto. Approximately 300 specimens on 48 leaves. Letterpress or manuscript identification labels to almost all plants. Half morocco, spine gilt. * LINDGREN, J. “Uigtigare Svenska Fodervexter,” Skara, 1845. Folio. 31 specimens, full page, identification labels. Printed boards. * Wild Flowers and their Teachings. Bath: Binns and Goodwin, 1848. Printed album with 48 (of 50) botanical specimens collected and preserved.
