Smith p. 16. 2. The Village Coquettes: A comic opera . London: Richard Bentley 1836. 8°. FIRST EDITION. Dickens's musical collaborator was John Hullah, and the opera had its first night at St. James's Theatre, December 6, 1836. Eckel p. 157. 3.
