Property from a Private Collection, New YorkDIRCK VERHAERTHaarlem(?) circa 1610 - after 1675 Leiden(?) AN EXTENSIVE RIVER LANDSCAPE WITH A BRIDGE oil on canvascanvas: 30⅝ by 47⅛ in.; 77.8 by 119.7 cm.framed: 47 by 54⅝ in.; 119.4 by 138.8 cm.Condition ReportCanvas is lined. A large and impressive image reads well. A scratch that has some inpainting is at right, above the bridge. Stable craquelure is noticeable in the sky, with a few scattered discolored retouches. These fluoresce under UV along with two small spots at bottom left. The varnish is a little yellowed and perhaps could benefit from a light clean. Painting is otherwise overall in good condition.
