Two autograph letters signed to the author Henry Savage, Florence, 30 December 1923 and 10 February 1924, together 2 pages, 4to, slightly browned, a few fold tears : "Thanks so much for...the [Arthur] Machen bibliography which strikes me as highly creditable to everybody...So kind of you sending up my stock in the U.S....I wish I had a book or anything else -- except my congratulations to offer to the new American publishing firm you speak of. But I haven't. I crawl along so slowly! And have lately entered my second childhood, or possibly menopause, which makes writing more difficult than ever..."--MOORE, GEORGE. Autograph letter signed to SIR JAMES M. BARRIE, n.d. [London] 20 July n.y., one page, 4to, fold creases, arranging for a visit by Moore: "...From this you will see that all days are alike to me with the exception of one -- the Saturday before. I am looking forward to this visit. I know the name of the house and station and the hour of the train starts from Paddington"--WODEHOUSE, P.G. typed letter signed to "Dear WW" [undoubtedly the columnist Walter Winchell], Remsenburg, Long Island, 16 May 1956, one page 4to, double-spaced, on Wodehouse's imprinted letterhead : "Thanks ever so much for the two plugs of America, I Like You.
