FIRST EDITION in book form, with misprint "you" for "your" on page 13; laid-in is John Murray's 8-page advertising insert "Conan Doyle. Teller of Tales." The Hound of the Baskervilles was the first encore performance of Sherlock Holmes since his disappearance over Reichenbach Falls in "The Final Problem" of 1893.
