Five pages of typed drafts of a letter from Brautigan to noted rare book dealer James Lowell offering to sell signed books and magazines. Brautigan makes three attempts to perfect a letter to Lowell, each beginning "Dear James Lowell" after which Brautigan lists material that he is offering for sale. One of those three drafts is signed in type "Richard Brautigan." On another page Brautigan makes a list of signed books that he has for sale, and on a different page he lists signed magazines. On the page with the magazines Brautigan has handwritten (in pencil) "Foot Number 1" and he lists the copies of J magazine that he has. Provenance: Keith Abbott.
