American, early to mid-19th century, pinned construction. Four windows are contained within a wooden box frame that appears to be pine; uprights having beaded edges. One side with a split sliding pane providing access to candle. Interior is fitted with a tin candle socket; top having a wrought loop handle with tin ventilator; all glass appears to be of the period. In an old dark finish; 10.5" high (14.5" high to handle) x 5.75" x 5.5". Condition: Minor losses.
