A large, very attractive and rare 18K gold hinged single button chronograph wristwatch with stop function and tropical brown dial Signed Eberhard & Co., La Chaux-De-Fonds, movement no. 13'233, case no. 204'025, circa 1940 Mechanical jewelled movement, tropical brown dial, inner spiral tachymetre scale, fifth of a seconds divisions, outer telemetre scale, two sunken engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minutes register, round case, hinged stepped flat bezel, hinged back, downturned lugs, two olive-shaped chronograph buttons in the band, associated 18K gold buckle, case, dial and movement signed 39.5 mm. diam.
