Ecrivain, créateur de sHerLock HoLmes. Lettre autographe signée, 1 page in-8 ; vers 1898. En-tête : The Reform Club. « In your exciting life you may have forgotten - but I remember - a pleasant afternoon we had together in Cairo three years ago. I hate to intrude but a friend of mine - Mr Sharman - is in for a headmastership in the Schools in which I understand that you are particularly interested, and I wanted to tell you that he is a good fellow and an able man at his work... I pine for Egypt among these ?twice-breated airs'... ».
