De Hauke, 1946-1949 the complete book in four volumes, from the first edition, comprising over 1400 reproductions after Degas, 1946-48, on wove, each volume with justification, title-page, text in French, and list of plates, volume IV with text only (as issued), copy number 144 from the edition of 980 (there were also 50 hors-commerce copies), each stamp numbered on the justification page, with minor foxing on the text pages and where bound, otherwise generally in very good condition, in original pale blue wrappers with titles printed in red and black on the front and on the spine, in original cloth-backed boards and slipcases (with the spines split and some time staining)(books)344 x 260 x 60 mm.
