Infy.) light pitting from star, otherwise very fine £200-250 Footnote Frederick Summers was born in Fulham, London, and enlisted into the Royal Fusiliers at the Tower of London on 18 May 1882, a clerk by profession, aged 19. He transferred as a Sergeant to the Mounted Infantry in Egypt on 25 February 1886, and was promoted to Quartermaster Sergeant in January 1888. He transferred back to the Royal Fusiliers as a Sergeant in June 1896 and was discharged as a Colour-Sergeant on 17 May 1903. Sold with copy discharge papers which confirm medals and clasp.
