Eight German silver & ivory figures Print Circa 1900, seven marked ''Sterling 925'' and ''Germany'', depicting various historical personages, including four knights in armor, a woman in armor, a king and queen, possibly modeled after the sculptures of the cenotaph of Maximilian I in the Hofkirche, Innsbruck, each on an integral octagonal base set with colored stones; the eighth associated, marked ''925 Sterling'', ''Germany'' and with maker's mark I F and Son LTD, for Israel Freeman and Son, depicting a comic figure, on an integral circular base set with colored stones; 8 pcs, the tallest 6.25'' H x 1.625'' W x 1.625'' D, Provenance: Property of an Estate, Encino, CA. Condition: General marks, rubbed wear and tarnishing commensurate with age. Extensive loss to gilt finish. Two with glue visible where head was apparently reattached to neck. Figure of queen lacking elements originally held in each hand. Dimensions include bases and elements held in figures' hands.
