(22 5/8 x 17 7/8in.); text in one vol., old brown half morocco gilt, 4 vols. of plates in old red half-morocco gilt, g.e., bindings worn, the plates once framed and with stains on versos from old wood backing, each plate neatly numbered in red ink, some browning and a few stains. FIRST EDITION, 72 hand-colored lithographed plates after Elliot, Joseph Wolf and Edwin Sheppard (one), by Bowen & Co. and C.F. Tholey, 21 India proof wood engravings by W.J.
