♡ ELMA ROACH (1897-1942) Zinneas oil on canvas signed lower left: E. Roach 45 x 37cm PROVENANCE: The Holst Collection, Melbourne E. J. Ainger, Melbourne, 28 February 2010, Private collection, Melbourne Estimate $2,000-3,000 Condition: Upon close inspection there is splitting/cracking in the paint running horizontally at the best. This appears in line with the brushwork, and possible due to a build up of impasto paint. A small minor hairline crack found to the upper left corner. Overall framed size 59.5 x 50cm.
