Two sets of autographs of the England team, one signed in ink on M.C.C. writing paper, the other signed in pencil by the team Eleven on plain paper, likewise with 17 autographs of the South African touring side on official post-card embossed "South African Cricket Team 1924," laid into a general autograph album which contains another 19 clipped autographs of cricketers, including Abel, Denton, Hendren, Mead, Sponner, and F. E. Woolley, mounted on 2 leaves. The album also contains signatures of the tennis starts William Tilden, Kitty Godfree, and Betty Nuthall, and other celebrities including Gladys Cooper, Noel Coward, Anton Dolin, D. Lloyd George, Rudyard Kipling, Charles Laughton and Sybil Thorndike, with printed boards reading " School of Art Cartridge Sketch Book ."
