The image takes up the center with the main title printed in red ink beneath and the subtitle superimposed in black ink over the image in the upper left. Signed by the artist in the plate, with "Painted for and presented to the U.S. Navy by George Wright" at lower left below image; "Colorplates by The Gill Engraving Co. N.Y." Rubberstamp in lower margin, "Navy Recruitment Station Post Office Bldg. Colo. Springs" - this is misstamped so the P in Post is out of place, and it is overall faint.
