European School 18th Century The Good Samaritan Inscribed indistinctly and dated 1741 (ll) Red chalk on laid paper 11 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches (29.2 x 24.8 cm); Together with French School, 19th Century, Middle Eastern Army On the Move, signed with initials MB (ll), inscribed on the verso in graphite pencil David's life (?), brown and gray ink wash on paper laid down to a second sheet 7 1/2 x 11 inches (19 x 28 cm); European School, 19th/20th Century, Pieta, signed indistinctly (lr), chalk, ink and gray wash on paper, with a graphite sketch of a nude woman bending over on the verso, 13 x 8 1/2 inches (33 x 21.5 cm); and Two 19th Century English Drawings, one of Tiverton Church, Devonshire, graphite on paper, 5 1/4 x 6 3/4 inches (13.5 x 17.2 cm); the other of Pont Aberglasslyn, North Wales, inscribed 1828 on the verso, brown wash on paper, 3 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches (9.5 x 11.5 cm).
