The exceedingly rare 1608 reissue of The Fruiterers Secrets (1604), with dedication cancelled and with cancel title-page. This copy with title-page corrected to read “rare” for “care” (uncorrected in some copies, see STC). The text gives detailed directions for the picking, storing and preparing of fruits, including cherries, apples, pears and quinces. ESTC only locates one copy in the BL. 4to. (Title-page and last leaf soiled, headline shaved in the Epistle to the Reader.) Modern half calf. ESTC S119936; STC 10651.
