Accedit Mauricii Senonensis de S. Mussae ritibus Carmen, nunc primum editum. Hamburgi - Lipsiae (impensis Christiani Liebezeit) 1713. Small 4:o. (16), (1)-648 (pp. between 504-538 bound in wrong order), (4), 1-20, 1-14 (last blank) pp. Title printed in red and black, 1 engraved plate (all). Contemporary full vellum, slightly worn, blindstamped boards with cuttings, blindstamped spine in six compartments. Partly foxed. Bookplate of Emil Lindell. First edition. First edition of this early bibliography on the ancient world. It was later expanded by Paul Schafftshausen and the best edition is the third, published in 1760. Johann Albert Fabricius (1668-1736), one of the foremost German classical scholars, most famous for his works Bibliotheca Graeca and Bibliotheca latina.
