Sjt., A.O.C.) with card box of issue for British War and Victory Medals Six: Major R. E. Warry, M.B.E., Royal Army Ordnance Corps, later R.E.M.E. 1914 Star, with clasp (A-1267 Ar. S. Sjt., A.O.C.); British War and Victory Medals (A-1267 S. Sjt., A.O.C.); India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, Burma 1930-32 (7578740 W.O. Cl. II, R.A.O.C.); War Medal; Army L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. Sjt., R.A.O.C.) mounted as worn, generally good very fine or better and a remarkable family group (11) £400-500 Footnote Robert Emmanuel Warry served in the ranks 15 years 200 days, as Warrant Officer Class 2 for 8 years 59 days, and as Warrant Officer Class 1 for 5 years 215 days. He was appointed Assistant Instructor of Armourers on 21 June 1939, was commissioned Lieutenant on the same day and transferred to the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, becoming Captain in June 1945 and Major in July 1946. The Army List for 1947 confirms the award of the M.B.E.
