FER, NICOLAS DE]. Atlas itineraires de France d'Italie et des Pays Bas. Paris: chez le Sr. de Beaurain Geographe du Roy, 1728 [printed dates on maps and views 1687-1724, most of the de Fer plates dated 1705]. Title in manuscript in blue, red and gold. Comprises: A collection of 35 maps, 65 plans, 31 views and 52 text leaves, engraved througout, mostly double-page (including 17 folding), of which 107 are by de Fer and 15 by Nolin, 41 are fully hand-colored, 40 outline hand-colored and 33 partially colored. Depicting various views and maps of France and Italy. 4to, contemporary olive green morocco, covers gilt with triple gilt border and square floral corner pieces, spine elaborately gilt in six compartments, gilt lettered in one, g.e., small hole in leather of upper cover with boards showing; two views mounted on larger sheets, a few newspaper clipping inserted. Sold as a collection of plates not subject to return.
