Beschreibung:

FIAT 1200 Granluce Coupé Viotti (ex Motto) 1959 VIN No. 488177 Engine Type: 103 G.000 Registered in Vercelli in 1959, with original number plates and logbook and papers from the province of Turin from 1960, when ownership passed to Irene Motto. The car was later registered to Rocco Motto, the famous coachbuilder from Turin. It has some modifications probably carried out by Motto himself, such as the addition of an air intake and two headlights at the front and the installation of a rear window wiper. Blue colour with original vinyl and cloth interior. The car has been stripped down for restoration and the bodywork has been fully restored. It is therefore ready to be repainted and the restoration completed. It is complete with almost all components and details, a short list of what has been found to be missing will be provided on request. Mechanics totally disassembled, ready to be overhauled. This elegant Gran Turismo version, built by Francesco Viotti on a Fiat 1200 Granluce base, is an authentic rarity. It is estimated that fewer than 15 were produced and that those that have survived to the present day can be counted on the fingers of one hand. The example on offer is even more interesting as it belonged to another great Italian coachbuilder, and therefore deserves to be restored to its original splendour and displayed at events and concours d'elegance. The car must be collected from the province of Turin.
