Includes plays from 1929-2014. 55 octavo volumes, original bindings, mostly decorative boards, all printed in small editions. Featuring titles printed at numerous fine presses of San Francisco, including the Grabhorn Press, Grabhorn-Hoyem, Arion, and Lawton and Alfred Kennedy. The earliest title included is The Gest of Robin Hood (1929). A handful of other titles from the 30's and 40's are present, most are from the 50's onwards. Some of the earlier volumes have the signatures of numerous Bohemian Club members on the front endpapers. There are two copies each of a few titles, including Bonny Cravat (1970), Armada (1974), Olympus (1980), Maximilian! (1984), Galileo (1986). A wonderful collection. Lot Amendments Condition: General light wear, with occasional light rubbing to extremities, fading to spines and edges, etc.; occasional light offsetting or toning to interiors; all solid copies, most near fine or fine, with a few of the earliest titles perhaps being very good.
