Several models already purchased by the manufactory were only produced once Wolfgang Müller von Baczko became director on 1 November 1936. Pfeiffer was appointed artistic and technical advisor to the Hutschenreuter manufactory in Selb in 1934; between 1936 and 1938 the manufactory produced four models by Scheurich, including the reclining naiad of 1936.
