Five Colored Blown Molded Historical Glass Flasks, America, 19th century, the first, a light aqua calabash quart flask (McKearin no. 35, GI-35), with a bust of Washington on one side and a leafy tree on the reverse; the second, a light aqua calabash quart flask (McKearin no. 259, GIV-42), with a Union shield with clasped hands on one side and an eagle, shield, and banners on the reverse; the third, an amber pint flask with applied handle, Lancaster Glass Works, Pennsylvania, with a portrait of the famous trotting horse "Flora Temple" over "HARNESS TROT 2:19 3/4" (handle terminal chipped); the fourth, an amber pint flask with a sheaf of grain, crossed with a rake and pitchfork, over a star on one side, and "WESTFORD GLASS CO. WESTFORD CONN," on the reverse, (small cracks on lip); the fifth, an olive amber half-pint flask (McKearin no. 270, GV-11), with a horse pulling a cart loaded with barrels on a rail with lettering "RAILROAD" and "LOWELL," on one side, the reverse with spreadwing eagle and stars, ht. 9 1/4, 9, 8 1/2, 7 3/8, 5 5/8 in., respectively.
