Brief missives in answer to comments about Burroughs' books, and queries about forthcoming books and stories, addressed to Van Devier at several Ohio locales. Includes: December 1st, 1920. States "there will be a new Tarzan book out, probably next spring," and that "there will probably soon be a fifteen episode serial of The Son of Tarzan ready for the screen." (Punch-holes in left margin.) January 18th, 1921. Predicts the next Tarzan book, called Tarzan the Terrible, will be out the latter part of the spring, and "I am writing another Mars story for publication in the fall." (Punch-holes in left margin; large chip in lower margin not affecting text or signature.) Feb. 9, 1922. In part, "I cannot say when there will be another Mars or Tarzan book published, nor when The Efficiency Expert with be in book form..."
