[Flemish] DE VOS, Maarten (after) 2 series of hermit saints. Paris, Thomas de Leu late 16th-early 17th c engravings, various dimensions, laid paper, several with address: "Thomas de Leu excudit." (traces of former binding at left edge, margins slightly browned). Good impressions with wide margins. Both published by the Flemish Thomas de Leu (1555-who was mainly active in Paris. Monogrammist NB - Solitudo sive vitae foeminarum anachoritarum. engravings from a series of (title plate, n. 1-13-16), ca. 16,5 x 20,3 cm, all with Latin text in lower margin, signed "NB" and dated on the title plate. Copies in reverse after the engravings by Adriaen Collaert Johannes Baptista Collaert and Cornelis Galle I after Maarten de Vos. Ref. Hollstein XLIV.197-202.921-copy e. - Charpy, Emundus and De Leu, Thomas - Trophaeum vitae solitariae. Ca. 1598-engravings from a series of (title plate, n. 1-15-23-24), ca. 15,1 x 19,9 cm, all with serial mark 1 at bottom right and Latin text in lower margin, 1 signed "Emundus Charpy fe.", without the prints signed by De Leu.
