Provenance : Thomas Frognall Dibdin (1776-1847). THE DIBDIN COPY. PRICED throughout in a fine contemporary hand in red ink, and also part annotated in another hand in black ink. This 7,984-lot catalogue describes the largest 18th-century collection of Italian books formed outside of Italy and is the only 18th-century French sale catalogue to be printed in a foreign language.
