Japan 2s. international stationery card to New York bearing, on the reverse, the Agency Foochow code “I” c.d.s., a further strike on the address side (23.8) along with Shanghai Local Post (26.8), I.J.P.O. Shanghai c.d.s. (cancelling the card), Yokohama (30.8) and faint Senca Castle arrival c.d.s. It is thought that this card was originally posted in Pagoda Anchorage, explaining the two different Foochow c.d.s. A good card. Photo provenance: Charles Goodwyn, November 2001
