FOOD PRESERVATION] A collection of 120 pamphlets, offprints and memoirs concerning food production in peace and wartime, food preservation, in particular canning and freezing, and the nutritional value of staple foods, published 1890 to the mid 1930's, the majority from the 1900's to the 1920's, in small format, with some duplicates, bound in 7 volumes numbered I-V and VII on spines, one volume unnumbered, all in uniform brown buckram (the unnumbered volume contains 17 Food Invstigation Board memoirs). Together with 40 other unbound reports, most by the Medical Research Council, 1920's to 50's, 5 other parliamentary reports and a selection of works on vitamins and infant nutrition.
