A large Austrian Art Nouveau patinated cast bronze and marble sculpture, “For Death For Glory” by Carl Kauba of a cowboy on horseback with rifle in hand, jumping down a mountainside atop a red marble base. The sculpture is signed “Carl Kauba Austria”. C. 1900. Bronze is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, breaks or repairs. The original patina is extremely well preserved with no appreciable loss. Marble base appears to have two small pieces that have broken off on the underside edge.
