Ackermann, 1824 [watermarked 1821-1824]. 2° (390 x 310mm.), title and final text leaf with hand-coloured aquatint vignettes, engraved folding map and 24 fine hand-coloured aquatint views. Full crimson crushed morocco gilt, g.e. by Zaehnsdorf. FINE LARGE PAPER COPY WITH AN ORIGINAL WATERCOLOUR DRAWING BY FORREST Palace of Dehli, taken from the top of the Juma Musjid (The Principal Mosque of Dehli) 24th April 1809 signed with initials C.R.F. and numbered No. 32 , pasted to front free endpaper. The drawing, measuring 250 x 385mm., is a sketch for plate XXI. Abbey Travel 441; Tooley 227.
