Four figural silverplate master salts in the style of Napoleon III, two each of scantily clad putti, the boys plucking a fowl, the bonneted girls with a water jug and cup. The scaled pedestals are raised on scrolled feet and support two oval basket form salts with removable gold wash liners. All marked Christofle, 15 and scales of justice flanked by C's within an oval punch. Male putti marked 450319 and measure 5.25" high x 6.5" x 3.5"; girls are marked 428390 and measure 5" high x 6.5" x 3.5". Provenance: Property of an Indiana Collector Condition: Some loss of gold wash and oxidation to liners.
